The First Day of Spring is also known as the Spring Equinox.
The word equinox comes from Latin words which literally mean “equal night,” the length of day and night is nearly equal in all parts of the world. After the Spring equinox, the Northern Hemisphere tilts toward the Sun, which is why we start to get longer, sunnier days. Hip Hip Hooray!!!
So here is to each of us finding some equality/balance: in our lives… whether that is in work or play. You know if you feel whole and complete… overflowing with peace and joy. Or the exact opposite, always giving, forever striving… yet never feeling like you get to that illusive “there.” And instead are exhausted and completely worn out.
