Yay, it’s March! Hopefully you are doing well! This month we will focus on ways to increase your ability to keep calm and peaceful even in uncertain times. Many things going on in the world and in my country (the USA) right now are significant stressors — creating fear, stress and anxiety: the spread of the coronavirus, turmoil around politics & voting, and destructive weather damage are just a few. Not to mention the things going on in our own lives!
Keep Calm and Increase Your Sense of Peace
One effective way to calm yourself is with deep breathing, and I love to close my eyes to deepen the experience. Another choice is to add tapping, for a DIY reduction of stressors of many kinds. One of my favorite chiropractors, Dr. Stan Casebere, told me about EFT/tapping many years ago. I have been using tapping ever since, and find great relief with this tool.
Nick and Jessica Ortner, of The Tapping Solution, LLC, have developed a wide array of options to learn and use tapping to help address many different needs. This company has a mission to bring into the mainstream a simple, effective, natural healing method known as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or Tapping.
This is a healing modality that combines ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. Nick’s goal is to empower people to create healthy, abundant and stress-free lives. He has several books, films, and audio programs available to teach basic and advanced techniques. They host online events and speak at gatherings attended by participants from all over the world.

It is ideal to tap privately when you can dedicate a few moments of calm without multitasking to get the most benefit. But, you can also discreetly tap when in triggered situations to lower your discomfort. Jump in and give this a try…

Spring Forward as Daylight Saving Time Begins in the US
For most of you in the United States, Daylight Saving Time begins tonight! Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead — the time springs forward 1 hour at 2:00 AM EST on Sunday, March 8th. It’s time to Spring Forward (and lose an hour of sleep). So we’ll have the chance to appreciate more daylight throughout the warmer months.
For those of you in other places around the world, you may not observe Daylight Saving Time, or your DST start and end dates may be different. Here’s one resource that may help
Always take the very best care of yourself every day. Consider adding a brief tapping session as you start your day, for more focus and success.
I am sending you abundant blessings to help you keep calm and peaceful. With a deep and relaxing sigh… ~ Diane
